The Bill Lane Scholarship Award

Presented by the Mounted Patrol of San Mateo County Foundation.

Rodeo participants can apply for a $2,000 and $1000 scholarship, sponsored by the Bill Lane Fund, the Mounted Patrol Foundation, and the Friends of Huddart and Wunderlich Parks.

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a Pre-Rodeo Dinner Dance on July 3rd. Starts at 6:00 PM. Dinner is served around 7:00 PM – band music and dancing at about 8:30. Tickets are sold at the door. 

On July 4th, 2024, Doors open at 8:30am. Main event starts at 12pm. Tickets are sold at the gate.

Rodeo contestants may enter on July 3rd at 12:00pm. Camping overnight is allowed. No open flames or horse pens.  

 

Yes! There is parking on the event grounds. Parking is $5 per car.

Arrive early to avoid any car lines at the gate. 

BBQ staples such as burgers, hotdogs, water, soda, and adult beverages are available for purchase
