Woodside Junior Rodeo

The Mounted Patrol of San Mateo County invites the whole family to a 4th of July tradition. Over a hundred young people from around California will participate and test their skills in America's oldest sport of Rodeo. Events will include roping, women's barrel racing, and bull riding for the older contestants.

Keeping the American rodeo spirit alive by supporting the next generation of cowboys and cowgirls is important to us. These boys and girls are provided an opportunity to ride at our beautiful facility in Woodside, CA. This rural setting amongst the sprawl of the San Francisco Bay Area attracts patrons throughout the Northern California.

The pricing for admission is $15.00 per person 18 and older
$10.00 – 5 year old to 18 years old
Under 5 is free
$5.00 per vehicle for parking

There is a Pre-Rodeo Dinner Dance on July 3rd. Starts at 6:00 PM. Dinner is served around 7:00 PM – band music and dancing at about 8:30. More information is on The Flyer.

There will be a stick race for children 3 to 5 year old about the same time as the pig scramble
